Blood Center brochure
Brief: redesign the "after you donate" instruction leaflet provided by Stanford Blood Center.
Concept: I came up with the idea to do a french fold brochure with a fold-out poster. I thought this would be a useful marketing opportunity for the institution. It is a piece I intended to be taken home by the donee and placed on their pin board at home or at work.
I used a subtle, text-based screenback to add interest and reinforce the brochure's message, and a combination of Gills Sans for the headlines and Baskerville for the body copy.
The original brief was to create a black and white brochure, but in creating a second version I decided to add red as an accent colour for emphasis.
